On Australia Day, January 26 2009 Nick Catania, Mayor of the Town of Vincent presented ASeTTS with the Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award. These awards are presented to an individual and a community organisation nominated by their local government authority for “fostering Australian pride and spirit through active citizenship and outstanding contribution to community”.

ASeTTS received the community award and Mr Vasil Cigulev received the individual award which recognized his 50 years of support and voluntary work on behalf of the Macedonian community. ASeTTS is very appreciative of this recognition from the Town of Vincent as well as the steadfast support they have provided for the work we do.
